STRAIGHT ANSWERS
Questions are welcome.
Surprises are not.
Everything you need to know about the process, pricing, materials, hauling, and booking.
Getting started
What exactly is a garage reset?
A garage reset is a finished service, not just junk removal. We help you decide what stays, haul and donate approved items, broom-clean the space, and organize what remains so the garage is useful again.
Is the walkthrough really free?
Yes. The walkthrough is free, normally takes about 30 minutes, and does not obligate you to book. We measure the space, discuss your goal, and prepare a written Garage System Map and scope.
Do I need to know which package I want before the walkthrough?
No. Tell us the result you want, and we will recommend the lowest service level that can reasonably deliver it.
Do I have to be home during the reset?
You need to be available for the initial item decisions and final approval plan. After that, many customers leave while we complete the work. We confirm the communication plan before job day.
How long does the work take?
Most garage resets are completed in one full day. Larger cleanouts or Full Transformations may require additional time. Your written scope will include the expected timeline.
Services and pricing
What are your service levels?
The Clear-Out is $500. The 1-Day Garage Reset is currently offered at a $1,000 founding rate. The Full Reset is $2,000. The Full Transformation starts at $4,500. Every job begins with a free walkthrough and written scope.
What is included in the $500 Clear-Out?
The Clear-Out includes haul-away, a donation drop-off for approved reusable items, and a broom-clean finish. Organization is not included at this level.
What is included in the $1,000 1-Day Garage Reset?
It includes the clear-out, haul-away, same-day donation run, broom cleaning, and organization using the shelves, bins, and storage items you already own.
What is included in the $2,000 Full Reset?
It includes everything in the 1-Day Reset, plus heavy-duty freestanding shelving, labeled storage bins, and a practical zone map.
What is included in the Full Transformation?
Starting at $4,500, it includes the complete reset, heavy-duty freestanding racks, coordinated storage bins, and epoxy flooring delivered through our licensed flooring partner.
Could the final price change?
The walkthrough is used to confirm the actual volume, garage condition, materials, and requested result. You receive a written scope and price before work begins, so changes are not made without your approval.
How do deposits and payments work?
A deposit holds your date. The remaining balance is due when the agreed written scope is complete. Exact payment details are included in your proposal.
Sorting, hauling, and donations
How do you prevent important items from being thrown away?
Nothing leaves without your approval. Green stickers mark what stays, red stickers mark what goes or gets donated, and anything uncertain is placed in a set-aside area so we can ask you first.
What happens to usable items?
Approved reusable items are taken for donation. When the receiving organization provides a donation receipt, we return it to you.
Do you handle estate or family cleanouts?
Yes. We slow the decision process, protect meaningful items, and keep anything uncertain away from the truck until the family approves it.
Can you prepare a garage for a move or home sale?
Yes. We can clear and organize the garage so it is clean, usable, and ready to show or hand over.
Do you take paint, chemicals, batteries, or propane?
Do not place these items in a regular haul-away pile. Show them to us during the walkthrough and we will identify the lawful next step, which may require homeowner drop-off or a specialized provider.
Which special materials do you not handle?
We do not handle asbestos, mold remediation, biohazards, explosives, ammunition, radioactive materials, or leaking unknown substances. Text a photo or show us the item during the walkthrough so we can review it safely.
Shelving, bins, and flooring
Will you organize with storage items I already own?
Yes. That is exactly how the 1-Day Garage Reset works. We use your existing shelves, bins, and boxes to create practical zones.
Which package includes new shelving and bins?
The Full Reset includes heavy-duty freestanding shelving, labeled storage bins, and a practical zone map. The Full Transformation adds coordinated bins and epoxy flooring.
Do you install epoxy flooring?
Epoxy flooring is available with the Full Transformation. The flooring portion is delivered and contracted directly through our licensed flooring partner.
Can I choose the bin or floor colors?
Available material and color choices are reviewed during the walkthrough and written into your scope before ordering or scheduling.
